I started my career in the OR at LAC-USC Medical Center; during which I was the Manager of of Chest and Open Heart Surgery.
In the early 70's I went into the ambulatory field and I have been in this area of service ever since. I sought variety in my career so I have been a manager, in-service Instructor, private scrub, taught an OR course for nurses, developed and opened EASCs for a management company. I have also worked as both a medical reviewer for third party reimbursement and a site review coordinator for a major medical review firm. I opened my consulting firm in 2007, and since then I have concentrated on Benchmarking, CQI studies and assisting ASC Managers.
